First Rain Farm

First rain farm produces vegetables, vegetable seeds, and a mixture of berries just outside of nevada city, ca. We have been certified organic for over ten years and continue to develop new approaches to improve how we grow. We pride ourselves on producing over 90% of our fertility through on-farm composting methods using livestock as part of our land stewardship program. We sell our products at local markets, grocery stores, restaurants and through our collaborative csa program. Our seeds can be found at national seed companies including fedco seeds, southern exposure seed exchange, high mowing organic seeds, peaceful valley farm supply, filaree garlic farm, and redwood seeds. We are stewards of our land and hope to inspire others to do the same!
